There are maybe minor scratches but she is still beautiful!

Her face color is good. Her hair is a bit frizz but no discoloration, beautiful red hair (you can comb.) I couldn’t find missing plugs but I found there is a tiny crack on her hair cap. (you cannot see she has enough hair so.) Eyelashes are intact. Green Eye shadow is still beautiful. (There is a really tiny black point on her right eye shadow.)

No cracks on her body.
Her right knee bends well but left knee cannot bend.(her toes are maybe chewed? it seems a bit rough. )

Pull ring and string are original and works good.
All 4 eyes colors are clean and shiny but only her right pink eye was replaced to Takara superior pink eye chip so you can see the bid color difference. There is black dot on her right hand.

kenner blythe 黒髪刻印は6桁です。とても大切にしていましたが、この度里親さまを探すことに致しました。
気に入ってくださる方がいらっしゃればどうぞ宜しくお願いします。メイクですが、シャドー、リップはオリジナルです。
チークはパステルを乗せています。
お顔は退色もなく、目立つ傷やシミもありません。大変キレイです。出品の際、アイチェンジを試しました。カチッと変る時もありますが引っかかりがあります。
それまでは手で簡単にアイチェンジ出来るので気になりませんでしたが
気になさる方はよくご検討下さい。
アイの遊び部分に幅のあるコでしたので色んな表情が楽しめました。
アイはピンクのみ上から見ると黒目に抜けがあるのが分かります。
正面から見ている分には分かりません。
追加画像に正面からと上から撮影した画像をupしています。

他のお色も写真を大きめでupしていますので確認下さい。

ヘアは硬毛だと思いますがゴワゴワした感じはなく扱いやすい毛質でした。
毛先にちじれがありますが全体的にはキレイだと思います。
クシも通ります。

ボディは足も腰もしっかりとしていてキレイだと思います。

This is a MINT 1972 Kenner Blythe Doll Side Part Redhead NRFB never removed from the box. Blythe is an 11″ fashion doll with an overly large head, and is wearing her original Love ‘n Lace dress. She is PERFECT mint in the box having never been removed with the original TIGHT factory cello still sealed and the original factory twisty at her waist. She was previously owned by an adult collector who purchased the doll at the time she was produced in 1972 and was never played with or owned by a child. Blythe still has her legs attached to the stand with the original factory elastic. Please notice her right shoe has come off. The box is bright and crisp with no fade. As you can see, her eyes click easily into position by pulling the cord revealing perfectly bright and clear eyes. And notice the beautiful shading to her pink cheeks and eye make up. Her red hair is bright and shiny. Please note there is a small tear (and the only one) to the cello on the back under the girl’s chin as pictured. One tiny circular breathing hole was always put in the front of the cello by the manufacturing company Kenner. There are no cello seam splits either. The condition of this Blythe is as good as the day she was produced. Please examine all my pictures carefully and you will see why. I will only ship Priority International or Express Mail International for International buyers and insure up to the amount USPS allows for insurance. Domestic shipping requires Delivery Confirmation and Insurance purchase.

Description

I am the original owner of this Blythe Doll. My sister and I each received one from my parents on Christmas of December of 1972. Each year in November, my family went to Dispens’s (spelling?) Castle of Toys in the Chicagoland area (west of the city) and picked out toys we wanted for Christmas. My sister and I fell in love with these dolls and couldn’t wait for our presents that year! That evening we had a house full of family and my young male cousin Chris went into MY bedroom and took my beautiful brand new doll and promptly cracked her neck. I was inconsolable that Christmas Day at dinner because of this, but my father repaired her. And HERE SHE IS! I asked him what he did and he told me he doesn’t really remember much but thinks he added a screw in her neck for re-inforcement after opening up her head. Whatever he did, it worked and she had no further problems, but my father cautioned both of us NOT to abuse her pull-string. Which he didn’t have to tell us anyway because both my sister and I were absolutely wonderful mothers to our dolls and they were all taken care of like they were our kids! As you can see, she IS in perfect condition. There are no marks on her. Her pull-string works just fine. Her hair is not only perfect, but beautiful and full as well . . . not like some I’ve viewed with the “ratty” hair of an abused doll. She was loved and cared for. She is clean and beautiful. I have two dresses for her. I believe the blue one is the one she came with. The red one would have been bought, probably a gift that Christmas with the doll. She has red shoes in perfect condition. And she is wearing her original underwear. There is not a scratch or mark on her. Like I said, she IS beautiful and “nearly” perfect and this is the first time I’ve ever sold anything on here and I want to be honest about it. I have had several people tell me not to mention the story but I think it’s important to be honest. But you cannot see where she was repaired unless you were to take apart her head and I don’t want to hurt her and all works perfect and I am not a mechanic so I am not into disecting dolls. I do not have her stand. If I recall, my sister and I thought those were stupid and just had the dolls sitting on our beds. But the shoes and outfits are all original with the Blythe series and in perfect condition and you couldn’t tell them from brand new. You can’t tell her from brand new.

If you would like additional pictures sent to you, I would be happy to do so. If you would like to know what other dolls I have in my collection, please inquire too because I have a pretty nice collection that I will be slowly getting rid of. (I have boys and they have no interest in dolls!)

There will be absolutely no returns on this item because she is vintage, & I would worry about her arriving back to me in the same condition she is in presently. I can take and send pictures if you have any concerns.

Near Perfect Condition!!

This is a Near perfect original 1972 Kenner Blythe doll!

I am the original owner. The doll was gently played with initially in the 70’s.

Well stored for 35 years in clean, dry bedroom closet in non-smoking home.

Condition:

Hair - original, no plugs missing, never cut, color not faded

Eyes – bright white, chips clear, ring pulls smoothly to display all four colors

Face – no damage or yellowing, no lashes missing, original make-up, blush faded, slight color rubs on lower lip (see close up picture)

Body – all original parts, no cracks on butt, torso or neck (or any where else), knees bend easily 2 clicks (3 positions), no tears or markings on legs, fingers and toes intact

Accessories – original dress and shoes are clean with no tears or stains, non-Blythe faux pearl necklace included
